Artist Statement

I lived in Steinbach am Glan Germany for three years, and that time left a lasting impression on me. Beyond the cities and historic places, I became especially fond of the quiet beauty of the German countryside and the landscapes that surrounded my everyday life.

I was drawn to places such as Garmisch, the mountain region near Munchen offered a sense of scale and drama that deeply connected with my love of mountains and nature.

Photographing Germany is therefore a personal journey through memory. My images are not simply a record of the places I visited, but an expression of my affection for a country that became an important part of my life. Through photography, I can return to those landscapes and experience once again the sense of peace, discovery, and belonging I felt while living there.

アーティスト・ステートメント

私はドイツのシュタインバッハ・アム・グラン（Steinbach am Glan）で3年間暮らしました。その3年間は、私の心に深く残る大切な時間となりました。都市や歴史的な場所だけでなく、日々の暮らしの中で目にした、ドイツの田園風景の静かな美しさに特に惹かれていきました。

また、ミュンヘン（München）近郊の山岳地帯であるガルミッシュ（Garmisch）にも強く惹かれました。壮大な山々がつくり出すスケール感と力強い風景は、私がもともと抱いていた山や自然への愛情と深く結びついています。

私にとって、ドイツを撮影することは、記憶をたどる個人的な旅でもあります。私の写真は、単に訪れた場所を記録したものではありません。私の人生の大切な一部となったドイツへの愛着を表現するものです。

写真を通して、私はもう一度その風景を訪れ、ドイツで暮らしていた頃に感じた静けさ、新しい発見、そしてその土地に身を置くことの心地よさを、再び感じることができます。
