Artist Statement

New Zealand’s North and South Islands offer contrasting yet connected landscapes. From the volcanic terrain and rolling hills of the North Island to the dramatic mountains, clear lakes, and winding rivers of the South Island,

I am drawn to the diversity and quiet power of nature. I am also interested in the presence of Māori culture, whose deep relationship with the land, water, and natural world adds another dimension to my experience of these places.  

アーティスト・ステートメント　

ニュージーランドの北島と南島には、対照的でありながら、つながりを感じさせる風景があります。北島の火山地形やなだらかな丘陵から、南島の雄大な山々、澄んだ湖、蛇行する川まで、私は自然の多様性と静かな力強さに惹かれます。

また、土地や水、自然界との深い関わりを持つマオリ文化にも関心があります。その存在は、私がこれらの場所を体験するうえで、もう一つの大切な視点を与えてくれます。
